R esearch One provides custom research, writing, and analysis solutions to practising lawyers and government departments worldwide on almost any area of law.

We provide 2 kinds of research: legal research and non-legal factual research relevant to litigation. Specific examples are listed below.

Legal research

R esearch One does NOT:

  • engage in legal practice; we are NOT a law firm
  • provide services to the public; we deal exclusively with lawyers and government departments
  • provide services that only appropriately qualified legal practitioners (such as barristers and solicitors) can provide, such as providing legal advice, preparing a will or other testamentary instrument, preparing an instrument creating or regulating rights between people, preparing an instrument relating to property or a legal proceeding, acting as advocate for someone in a proceeding before a court or tribunal, or preparing papers to be used in support of, or opposition to, an application for the grant of probate or letters of administration
  • help law students
  • do direct marketing or telemarketing
