Law libraries

Like law firms, Research One has its own internal law library. But no internal library, whatever its size, can be expected to house more than a mere representative sample of the vast materials needed these days for quality legal research.

That is why Research One connects together researchers, librarians, and legal experts from all around Australia and internationally. If a library in one State does not have a particular source, chances are we can access that source from another State by calling a local member of our network. This ability to tap into a network of libraries and archives means we can find the source you need to properly analyse your case.

And because our core team is based in Canberra, we have access to the most commonly needed sources. For example, we have direct access to the National Library, National Archives, Noel Butlin Archives, five tertiary institutions, and federal government departments.
